SaladWala makes high-protein vegetarian bowls in Surat — built on tofu, paneer and chana — with the protein count printed against every item on the menu. They are delivered in about 30 minutes within roughly 3km of our Sarthana Jakatnaka, Varachha kitchen. If you are eating to a protein target, you can check the number before you order rather than guess from the description.
Vegetarian food in India is often assumed to be low in protein, and it is a lazy assumption. Paneer, tofu and chana are all dense sources, and the difference between a bowl that hits 25g and one that hits 8g is mostly a question of what the kitchen decided to put in it. We print the number so the decision is yours. If you are training and want the highest-protein options, filter the menu by the High Protein tag and sort from there.
Every bowl on the menu carries its protein count in grams, alongside calories and fibre. No guessing from a photograph.
Tofu, paneer and chana
Our highest-protein bowls are built on these three. All vegetarian, several vegan, and filterable by tag on the menu.
Eaten as a meal, not a side
These are full lunch-sized bowls, portioned to actually be lunch. A side salad does not get anyone to a protein target.
Common questions
The things people ask before their first order.
It varies by bowl, and the exact number in grams is printed against every item on the menu. Our tofu, paneer and chana bowls are the highest; filter the menu by the High Protein tag to see them ranked together.
Yes. The tofu and chana bowls are vegan and among the highest-protein items we make. Use the Vegan and High Protein filters together on the menu to see only those.
We deliver within roughly 3km of our Sarthana Jakatnaka, Varachha kitchen in Surat — that covers Varachha and the neighbourhoods immediately around it. We do not currently deliver across the rest of Surat. Send your address to +91 93286 61994 on WhatsApp and we will confirm straight away, before you order.
We buy at the market from 5am and the greens are in our kitchen by 6:15am, chilled to 2°C as soon as they land. Nothing is held longer than 24 hours, and bowls are assembled after you order rather than sitting pre-made in a fridge. That is the whole reason we keep the delivery radius short.
